WELCOME TO THE LOCKSMYTHE

     Tucked into the Felida neighborhood at The Shops at Erickson Farms Plaza, The Locksmythe Hair Salon and Barbershop has been a part of the Vancouver, WA community since 2016. What started as a simple dream between husband and wife, Garrett and Becca Olmstead, has grown into something we’re deeply proud of. Not because of numbers or accolades, but because of the people we’ve had the privilege to serve.

From the very beginning, our goal has been to create a welcoming, down-to-earth space where clients feel seen, heard, and cared for, not just styled. We believe that great hair is personal, and it starts with trust. Whether it’s a classic barbershop cut, a custom color, or something brand new, we’re honored every time someone sits in our chair.

Over the years, we’ve built more than just a client list. We’ve built relationships. Families grow with us, friends refer friends, and people return not just for a haircut, but for the experience of being treated with respect, kindness, and consistency. We don’t take that lightly. Every visit is a chance to show our appreciation, and we’re so grateful to the community that’s helped us keep going and growing.

We’ve also been fortunate to work alongside a team of stylists and barbers who genuinely love what they do. Their skill, creativity, and warmth are the heart of The Locksmythe. And behind the scenes, our shared love of the craft has led us down some fun paths, from developing and producing our own styling products to working in education with partner brands. Though we’ve paused that side of the business for now, we hope to return to it in the future when the time feels right.
